Gianfranco Tabasso is CEO of FMS Group, a specialist in cash and treasury management, Vice President of the Association of Italian Corporate Treasurers (AITI) and chairman of EACT Payment Commission.
In this capacity, he plays an active role in the development of SEPA and represents European Corporate Treasurers to the EU Commission, the ECB and the EPC.
He is also part of SWIFT and TWIST working groups for new XML payment standards and represents Italy in the Registration Management Committee (RMG) of ISO 20022’s.
He has recently been named Coordinate of CAST (Corporate Action for STandards), a “market initiative” to extend and enrich SEPA, facilitate standardisation and common market practices in the Financial Supply Chain, allow cross-border interoperability of e-invoicing and e-signature, improve e-reconciliation and trade financing.
Gianfranco holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University of Milan and an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York.
He is based in Milan, Italy.
