Ben Haasdijk
Drs. B.J. Haasdijk (1943) holds the position of Chairman of the Executive Board at Interpay Nederland B.V. as of 2004. He has been member of the Executive Board as of 1999. Haasdijk studied Business Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and followed an Executive Development Program at the Institution of Business Economics at “Stichting Bedrijfskunde”. Haasdijk started his career at Metall-Chemie NV (trading company in non-ferro metals), where he was involved in forwarding transactions (1966 – 1968). At Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Central Statistical Office) he was responsible for setting up Financial Accounts as part of National Accounts (1968 – 1970). At Koninklijke Shell (1970 – 1973) he was involved in investment selection for the petrochemical industry. Subsequently, as Area Controller and Group Treasurer for a number of European branches at Polygram B.V. (record company), Haasdijk was involved in the funding and set up of a clearing system (1973 – 1978). As Assistant Controller at Bouwfonds Nederlandse Gemeenten N.V. (mortgage company) he set up management information and was responsible for asset and liability matching (1977 – 1978). At RCA B.V. (record company), he established and organised a new company as Financial Controller (1978 – 1980). He continued his career at Delta Lloyd Insurance Group N.V., where he held different positions. From 1980 – 1986 he was in charge of the holding administration as Managing Director Group Administration. Subsequently, as Managing Director Finance he developed and executed financial and tax policies (1986 – 1990) and as Managing Director Information Technology he was responsible for developing and executing ICT policies.
